Earlier this year, Governor Kathy Hochul directed the NYS Division of Human Rights to establish a statewide Hate and Bias Prevention Unit to provide a community-focused, coordinated, and rapid response to hate and bias incidents.
The Division is reaching out to community members and advocates to inform the creation and work of the Unit via a collaborative stakeholder meeting. A remote option will be available for individuals who cannot join in person.

If you caught Taste Union Avenue, then you know New Rochelle knows how to have fun! The New Rochelle Street Fair is the place to be SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 18, 11 AM-5PM
The New Rochelle Street Fair is a signature event that attracts thousands to the City for a fun-filled day of entertainment, crafts, food, and more.
200 local vendors will line both sides of North Avenue between Winthrop and Fifth Avenues, with an expanded area on Hamilton Ave to Beaufort Pl. Some of the highlights will include a Touch-A-Truck section with City vehicles, live performances, giant inflatables, and the popular Beer Garden sponsored by Beechmont Tavern.
