In Memoriam: Andy Fiore

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of longtime LOFT member Andy Fiore who passed away on September 20, 2023 at the age of 91. Andy's partner of 38 years, Peter Lomonte, was one of The LOFT's founders in 1983. Andy and Peter were frequent participants in the center's Silver Connections LGBTQ+ Senior Program and LOFT special events, especially The LOFT's Annual Gala and Holiday Brunch. 
A burial service will take place on Monday, October 2nd, at noon.  Location is St. Augustine Cemetery, 71 Hawkes Avenue, Ossining, NY.

Professor Marston and the Wonder Women, a surprisingly relevant and lively period drama about the origin of that fabulous feminist icon, Wonder Woman. The film explores the lives of Marston (Luke Evans), his wife Elizabeth (Rebecca Hall), and research assistant Olive Byrne (Bella Heathcote), who not only pioneered the lie detector, but whose lives inspired the origin story and tropes of the classic superhero.

New Yoga Class at The LOFT

Begins Sept 29th-Friday

Open Level Class | FREE, Donations accepted
STARTS: Friday, Sept. 29, 6:15- 7:30 pm |
In-Person at The LOFT Campus

This will be an open-level class so whether you are a seasoned yogi or a first-timer, there will be something for everyone from gentle and dynamic flows to precise static balances with a final meditation accompanied by a short singing bowl sound bath.

This is a free experience, but donations are always welcomed.

The LOFT can supply mats and blocks, or you can bring your own equipment from home!
