Join us for a bewitching Halloween experience like no other! The Spooktacular LOFT Families Fall Fest is a Halloween event dedicated to LGBTQ+ families and youth. This event aims to provide a safe, welcoming, and celebratory environment where families can come together to enjoy a night of spooky fun, creative expression, and community bonding.

Join us for a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month-Queer Style with an Out At The Movies showing of Pedro Almodóvar's newest film Strange Way of Life, featuring Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke. There will also be a screening of Almodóvar's other short film, The Human Voice, starring Tilda Swinton.

October 5, 2023 – The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center is proud to announce the Rainbow Rally, taking place on October 11, 2023, from 6:30 PM to 8 PM at The LOFT Campus, 252 Bryant Avenue, White Plains, NY 10605. Hosted in honor of Coming Out Day, the event is free to attend.

The Rainbow Rally aims to raise awareness about strategies being employed to suppress, minimize, and erase the LGBTQ+ community. The event also seeks to provide practical solutions that individuals can implement to counter the rising tide of LGBTQ+ hate.

The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center Announces Strategic Organizational Restructure

(White Plains, NY) — The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center is excited to announce a significant reorganization of its executive leadership team, effective Monday, October 2, 2023.

These new leadership changes allow the center to meet the evolving needs of the community. The key purpose behind this reorganization is to establish a forward-leaning leadership framework capable of addressing both current and future challenges. The new structure aims to increase efficiency and adapt to the growing and changing needs of the community.

In Memoriam: Andy Fiore

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of longtime LOFT member Andy Fiore who passed away on September 20, 2023 at the age of 91. Andy's partner of 38 years, Peter Lomonte, was one of The LOFT's founders in 1983. Andy and Peter were frequent participants in the center's Silver Connections LGBTQ+ Senior Program and LOFT special events, especially The LOFT's Annual Gala and Holiday Brunch. 
A burial service will take place on Monday, October 2nd, at noon.  Location is St. Augustine Cemetery, 71 Hawkes Avenue, Ossining, NY.
